The Wine
This extracted and aromatic wine is crafted from Malbec grapes perfectly ripened in the sun drenched climate of eastern Mendoza, Argentina. The desert night brings cool temperatures to balance the acidity with the grape sugars created during the day. A meticulous and gentle fermentation along with American and French oak aging results in a rich, perfumed nose and small, integrated tannins. The soft, round mouth feel explodes with bright and persistent red fruit flavors.
The Vine
Argentina is famous for Malbec. The grapes are harvested from the eastern region of Mendoza which is the premier wine growing region in Argentina. Petizos receives a little French and American oak treatment.
