Botter

HeyDay Corporation has engaged the Botter family in a special joint venture. Botter produces custom blends of high quality according to the lofty specifications of HeyDay Corporation. Botter owns a significant winery in Fossalta di Piave, near the Piave River northeast of Venice. In addition to selling wine, Botter provides organic grape juice concentrate to its clients in Germany. They own the La di Motte estate, just a few kilometers from the winery. Botter sells wine throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S.A. The wines selected by HeyDay Corporation are custom blends, bottled exclusively for them. Botter is involved in several organic projects, such as Era wines, some in conjunction with the Volpi winery in Tortona. The soft slopes in the Piave plain and its soil, rich in minerals, provide an excellent venue for viticulture. The grapes come primarily from family-owned vineyards close to the border with Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. The Botters work not only with traditional, local varietals, such as Prosecco, but also with international vinifera, such as Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet.
