Project Altitude was founded in 2007 by David McNeely, enologist
Hector Scarsi and viticulturist Ricardo Garcia, aka the vine man.
This wine concept was created around the Malbec grape and the idea
of quality and value for which Argentina has become known. Project
Altitude is located in San Carlos which is quickly becoming
Mendoza’s premiere appellation. A small range of wines is offered,
some of which are sourced from eastern Mendoza while others come
from small old vine vineyard blocks in San Carlos including
Altamira and El Cepillo. We are excited for the future of these
wines as the quality of the grapes and winemaking will continue to
improve with each harvest. Neighbors include Luca and O
Fournier.
